In all seriousness, is this even the same team without him? While Lawson was out on injury this team looked as though a few college teams could have taken them down. Faried looked lost in the post, Wilson Chandler seemed to not know his ass from his elbow and the Nuggs were getting straight decimated on a nightly basis. Then Lawson comes back last night and they take it to the Mavs. Mind bottling. Now Dirk still slang his German Schnitzel all over the Pepsi Center and Chandler defended him like he had a flu/aids super virus. Just redefining the soft defense game. But lets not get off topic. This team scores 10 more points a game and give up 5 less with Lawson on the floor. Thats flat STAGGERING. They got a big win last night which at this point you almost don't need because they are not going to the playoffs and this attempt at stopping the full fledged tank job is futile.
Lawson is undoubtedly going to be the face of this franchise going forward, but hey take a break bud? No need to win more than necessary here. Nuggets are a late addition to the Parker/wiggins/smart/embiid/mcdermott/ randle etc etc etc lottery and losing is whats hot in the streets right now. Love your game but lets take a hard pass on this season, get healthy in the offseason and get back at it next season (I'm talking to you Danilio.)
