Yes, I know this is late (really late). Yes, I know that March Madness is going on and no one cares about football. But I would simply be failing at bringing you my own take on Denver Sports take if I didn't write about this. So in the span of 48 hours the Broncos VASTLY improved the side of the ball that was clearly lacking. Picking up Demarcus Ware, Aquib Talib and TJ Ward. Ward and Talib especially will improve a secondary that just lost DRC to the G men and cutting Champ Bailey (still crying myself to sleep). Talib on opposite side of the field as Chris Harris is one hell of a cornerback tandem. But the biggest signing is without a doubt when Jerry Jones decided to be Jerry Jones (egotistic, brash, over reacting, stupid, moronic, insane, senile, etc.) and cut Demarcus Ware. D Ware decided he wanted to play for a winner and Mr. Elway was more than happy to give him an orange jersey. Yes, i know last year was less than spectacular for Ware but you can't deny the presence and pressure he puts on an offense.
Clearly we can all agree Elway went Atila the Hun and raped and pillaged the free agency for all its worth with their limited cap space. The original Johnny Football knows Peyton has way too many miles and the Broncs need to win and they need to win now. Gonna be fucked in 3 years time but for now...WOOOOOOOO!!
